Please note: Due to the recycled nature of the steel shot, the granules may vary in size and have a finer, pepper-like texture. This occurs because the shot has been used before, cleaned, and naturally reduced in size through use. This characteristic does not affect the performance or weight but provides a more compact and efficient filling material.

This product is intended primarily for customers purchasing bulk steel shot for use in their own containers or for distributing weight as needed. The cotton drawstring outer bag and 6-mil poly liner are provided as a convenient means of containing the shot.

For long-term use as a marine ballast bag, we recommend our 1680D Nylon Ballast Bags, which are specifically constructed for repeated handling, abrasion, moisture exposure, and use in boats.
